Cranage EMC & Safety Group celebrates 10 years with the launch of its New Web Site.

Established in 1991, Cranage EMC Technology Limited initially won a Shell-BP design award for developing portable EMC test equipment for manufacturers of electrical plant and machinery. One year later Cranage EMC Testing Limited was incorporated to market a range of testing and consultancy services for EMC and low-voltage safety. In 1993 Cranage established a Test Site in Shropshire with assistance from the Rural Development Commission. Derelict buildings built in the 17th Century were carefully restored and converted into offices, screened rooms and workshops for R&D. The old walled garden once a site for growing vegetables for past owners of Oakley Hall became the new home for a 10m test range. Now in its tenth year, Cranage continues to expand its facilities in rural Shropshire, developing new products and services in response to the needs of electrical and electronics industries. Cranages' new web site includes details of EMC test equipment and a fully compliant 100A LISN for Def Stan 59-41. Also, of special interest is a check list which will help you pre-test your product for EMC and information about a new office based consultancy service for UK customers.
