A CISPR16 Voltage Probe is specified to be used in all emissions standards when, artificial mains networks (LISN's) can not be used.

The Cranage Voltage Probe (PLIP® - Power Line Interference Probe) is suitable for measurements on both single and three phase AC supplies up to 275V line earth. The 30dB pre-amplifier is used to correct the usual insertion loss.

Measurements are made between each line conductor, and a suitable earth point. As it is so easy to use, the insulated and fused safety probes can be quickly detached from one line and attached to another, when dealing with three phase equipment.
