Who We Are

Cranage EMC And Safety was founded in 1992 and remains a family-run business where we pride ourselves on our service. Initially, the business provided EMC testing and consultancy for CE marking electrical and electronic products within European market. This was later expanded to include product safety testing with some limited aspects related to environmental test requirements. In 2005, we became a UKAS-accredited laboratory (1833) for a limited test scope and since then have expanded significantly offering very comprehensive accredited test and certification services for EMC, product safety, mechanical, environmental and energy-related testing.

Through the years, our highly skilled and competent engineering team has grown and offers vast experience in various product sectors, including medical devices, household appliances, laboratory equipment and industrial machinery. As a family-run business, service is at the heart of our operation, and our team work closely with customers to achieve compliance promptly.

At Cranage, we continually invest in our capabilities and facilities to support our customers and ensure a complete approach to testing for product compliance. Furthermore, we pursue new opportunities in how we can assist in a test and analysis role for upcoming technologies and advancements in science.

Our purpose-built and state of the art test laboratories are located in North Shropshire, where we can assist with testing for the UK, Europe and International markets.
