New Standard For IT and AV Equipment
In December 2020, BS EN / IEC 60950-1 and BS EN / IEC 60065 were withdrawn and replaced by BS EN / IEC 62368-1, the new standard for Information Technology Equipment (ITE) and Audio/Video Equipment. This new standard covers both ITE and audio/video because, as technology has developed, it has become harder to distinguish the difference between the two.
It also covers components, and therefore, even a power supply must be compliant with BS EN / IEC 62368.
