Light Testing
Testing for Lighting Products
The lighting industry has seen significant changes in recent years due to changes in technology, mainly through the growth of LEDs and the drive to increase energy efficiency. LED lighting can produce electromagnetic emissions, so EMC testing for lighting products is increasingly important to show that your product will not affect or be affected by other products in the same environment.
Cranage can offer testing and certification for all types of lighting products, as per Regional and International requirements. In the UK and Europe, the following regulations and Directives apply to lighting equipment used in the home or commercially, although the European Directives will be updated for UK equivalents.
